Estimation of the value of your piano by an expert

An Expert (technician or qualified professional) comes to your home or on site, to assess the condition and therefore the value of your piano.

Our approach:

• Making an appointment, for a visit from Monday to Saturday
• One of the experts goes on site to evaluate:

1. The aesthetic condition of your piano
2. The functional condition of your piano, and any defects or costs to be expected
3. Collection of information such as make, serial number or certain features of the keyboard, mechanics or soundboard
4. Taking transport information (optional)

• Drafting of an expert report, with the mention of a market value of your instrument
• If necessary, you will automatically receive a proposal to buy back or take your piano on deposit in our stores
• In case of resale of your piano to our company Pianos Schaeffer (without obligation to purchase) or for any purchase of an acoustic piano after the sale of your instrument, the amount of this expertise is fully refundable.

You will then have a document to attest to the value and qualities of your piano. You will be able to resell your used piano on Leboncoin.fr (or other similar sites) and stand out from other ads of pianos often with defects.

We will also have the opportunity to make you a proposal to resell your piano, via our professional services: specialized carriers, secure payment (bank transfer) and no visit of curious people to your home.

No takeover proposal is made without an expert report issued by one of our Pianos Schaeffer Experts.

Our package includes all costs : travel of our Expert, drafting and transmission of the expert report (electronically or by post on request), VAT included.
