Founded in 1991 by vote of the municipal council, the music school of Hettange-Grande settled a few months later in the Moselle commune north of Thionville.
Since then, the school has welcomed students from Hettange-Grande and neighbouring municipalities to provide courses in musical training (music theory) and instrumental practice.
An adult choir was created in 1999.
Musical awakening classes are also offered to children from 4 years old.
